Diode



  • A diode is a is a tube or solid-state device that has two primary elements: Cathode, and Anode (plate)

  • A diode can be used as a rectifier (5AR4), a protection circuit (avalanche diodes), a voltage reference (zener diodes), or as an AM signal detector in radio circuits.
